BLOG - How Embracing Your Personal Leadership Brand Can Drive Transformative Results

For this blog, we switched strategies to better meet the needs of the two buyer personas as well as to drive more attention toward the IMPACT® Leadership Program (a service-based program offered by my client).

Because the buyer personas are CHROs and Executives we switched the blog from being a re-hash of the script of the YouTube video to being a summary of the video (or table of contents, so-to-speak). We designed the writing to be more scannable and obvious in referencing the benefits to the audience. We also used headline ranking software to generate more compelling headlines. Another change in strategy (starting with this blog post) has been to shift into doing series on specific topics that my client is a subject-matter expert in. This will enable her YouTube channel to have playlists and for her to gain market positioning for her expertise.

My contribution to this project:

-Copy editing of the video script. Because this post is the first of four posts in a series, we batched the script writing for the videos to ensure that there is enough distinction between the four posts (so as to not repeat keywords) while also maintaining continuity between them with an overall theme. This blog post introduces the importance of Personal Leadership Branding, and how authenticity is connected to measurable results in the workplace.
-Optimizing the headline to be more compelling. (I use the software from coschedule.com.
-Optimizing wording and formatting in WordPress to achieve green scores for Readability and SEO.
-Creating a "Related Marketing Assets" sheet containing all writing, links, etc. needed for this to be promoted on YouTube, LinkedIn, etc. For the first 6-7 blogs we have done we have not done a lot of social media promotion yet, although the writing has been prepared by myself. Because we are trying a new batch system for video script writing and blog creation, we are solidifying that process first before we devote our FULL attention toward organic promotion on social media. (Current update as of 8/17/23) I do not have control over the YouTube channel or social media platforms, though I am the writer providing the content.
